The following are some secrets that I need help on:
Shinra Toy Soldiers: So far, I have obtained 6 of these Shinra Toy Soldiers. 2 of which were found in the shops at Junon. The other 4 was found at the Speed Square in the Gold Saucer. I'm not exactly sure how to get the Shinra Toy Soldiers from the Speed Square, but I think I have an idea of it. First, fill out the 3 high scores. Then, have your next score higher than the 2nd highest score but lower than the 1st highest score. You should recieve the Shinra Toy Soldier. If you have any accurate information on it (i.e. how to obtain, use), please email me.
The Masamune Blade and Super Sweeper: I have not yet found a use for
these two items. At first, I thought the Masamune Blade was a secret
sword for Cloud, but it wasn't. Then I thought you could give it to
the weapon seller and have him make it to a sword, but it couldn't.
The Super Sweeper, however, I haven't found out what it could do. Later
I recieved an email from Pertti Andelmin telling me
what the Masamune Blade and Super Sweeper's use were. He said that those items
where to help you get a secret character, Zack. Here's what he sent me:
You can get with these items a secret character Zack You may have heard this 1000 times, but i have an uncle working for Squaresoft USA And i have information on how to get a secret character. Zack. Remember the man Cloud mixed his identity with? Zack. Who's Cloud's best friend? Zack. Who saved Cloud from Nibelheim and brought him to Midgar? Zack. Well, here's how to get him. 1st, in Midgar, you must answer EVERY question CORRECTLY! It must be done in a certain way. Now, before starting the Kalm flashback, if you answered correctly, you will hear Aeris say Cloud reminds her of a man she once dated. After the flashback, Cloud, Tifa, and Aeris stay in the Inn, and Tifa mentions something about a man she found half-dead outside of Midgar. Now continue the game as usual. At the Temple of the Ancients, you'll find Zack killed by Sephiroth, and he'll enter the lifestream. Now get up to the 3rd CD. Go to the Gongaga reactor, and bring a Super Sweeper and a Mutsurame Blade ( both Gold Saucer Shooting Coaster prizes ) and use the Sweeper on the reactor. It will explode, and then use the Blade. You colapse and find yourself hearing Aeris's voice, then you wake up, and find yourself next to Zack. You talk for a while, and he leaves. You meet up with him again the North Crater. Then he is able to join your party, and starts at level 77.
I am still not sure that it works, since I haven't tried it. If you have any confirmation on this, please drop me a line.
The Combat Diary, Autograph, Tissue etc: These items are obtained in the Battle Arena in Gold Saucer. Not yet have I found a use for these items. If you know what they do, please email me.
The Revival of Aeris: So far, nobody has been able to prove that you
can revive Aeris, but everybody says that it's true. The most common
suggestion is that there really was a way to revive Aeris, but due to
the delay of the American release of FF7, Squaresoft cut the revival
process off. However, Squaresoft denies the existence of the Aeris
Revival. The real way (although I don't remember it very well)
was, remember that sick guy with the tattoo living in the Sector 5
Slums? You were supposed to cure him somehow. Then this guy called
"General" would say that if you have any favors, you could ask him.
Then after Aeris had died, revisit the Sector 5 Slums with the Sector
5 key and find the General. Cloud would tell him that Aeris has died
and he'll give you this item to revive her. Take the item back to the
pond where Aeris's body was left and you'll be able to revive her.
They say that the revival is only featured in the Japanese version.
Others say that you need a gameshark to revive Aeris.
Another explanation was that the death of Aeris lets you gain a new character, Sephiroth. Then Cloud, Sephiroth and the others would fight against Jenova and Meteor. Sephiroth was supposed to be turned good in some way. He would be seperated from the evil Sephiroth inside him and join Cloud. But everybody said that you should get another character after Aeris dies because if you noticed, when you fight Bizzaro-Sephiroth, you could split your team into 3 groups. 2 groups would have 3 people while the remaining group would have 2 people. People say that either Aeris or Sephiroth was supposed to be that last character. Is it true? Only time will tell. But if Squaresoft really did cut the revival off, I would be SO PISSED at Squaresoft. Then again, what if it was our fault? Maybe it was us that made Squaresoft cut it off to release it on time.
